The Wave(s)
2020
With the use of colorful video’s, soundscapes and graphical elements, this installation is a visual translation and representation of ‘The Waves’, written by Virginia Woolf.
Her method of writing reflects on concepts such as time, decision-making and identity through the inner monologues of six characters. In this installation, these six character are brought to life. The viewer can witness different perspectives of a (non-linear) story, in which each of the characters is represented individually, yet are intertwined with and correspondent of one another.
For now, meet Bernard.
